(ATLANTA, GA - January, 2004) -- Ashworth College, one of the nation’s premier distance learning institutions (www.ashworthcollege.edu), has introduced two fast-track graduate degree programs (masters.ashworth.edu) that are among the most affordable in the U.S. The Master’s Degree Program in Business Administration and Master’s Degree Program in Criminal Justice—at a cost-effective monthly tuition of only $99 with a $99 down payment—are nationally accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC.org), and can be completed in as little as one year or as much as five years on the student’s own timetable.
Ashworth College Graduate Degree Programs are ideal for working adults, parents with children at home, professionals who travel, military employees, and others who can’t fit a traditional classroom schedule into their busy lifestyles. Ashworth College students learn and submit assignments at their own pace, with no deadline pressure. Comprehensive textbooks are the same as those used in many of the nation’s most respected colleges and universities. These and other study materials are mailed to the student’s home. And unlike other distance education master’s degree programs, Ashworth College requires no campus visits, and there are no timed courses or set class schedules. Says Ashworth College Chairman Gary Keisling, “Students of Ashworth College will appreciate our affordable tuition and monthly payment plan—a welcome, economical alternative to the prohibitive expenses associated with traditional schools.”
Of course, at any price, higher education correlates with higher earnings. More specifically, a 2002 U.S. Census Bureau report states that lifetime earnings for individuals with master’s degrees average some $2.5 million. But most people can’t quit their jobs to attend graduate school; they need the income along with the work experience. Ashworth College distance learning resolves the dilemma so that students don’t have to give up their careers, their family lives, or their personal activities.
Says Keisling, “At Ashworth College, you’re not constrained by classroom walls or classmate competition, so you can progress as quickly as you want to earn that all-important advanced degree.
We are especially proud of our distinguished faculty—their professional and educational credentials are outstanding. This is reflected in a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on practical, “real-world” skills.”
Ashworth College is part of Professional Career Development Institute. PCDI, founded in 1987 has delivered nationally accredited home study career training courses (www.pcdi.edu), associate’s degree programs (www.ashworthcollege.edu), and a high school diploma program (www.jamesmadisonhighschool.edu) to over 1.2 million students in the U.S. and more than 100 other countries worldwide.
